Hello everyone! I hope you've all had lovely holidays and that the new year treats you well! I just wanted to quick provide an update regarding the general comic roadmap. First off (as you can see in the picture, haha) is a teaser for things going on in the comic next year! Folks over on Comic Fury do these every year and it was fun putting this one together. I hope it makes you excited for everything to come!

Now for some unfortunate news. I’ve gotten five pages for the next chapter completely done and 5 other pages about halfway done. I’ve also gotten a start on the cover for the next arc along with the updated cast portraits. However, all of this has been taking me a lot longer than usual and I don’t think I’ll be able to get a sizable buffer going by the time I wanted to start posting again without risking me wanting to explode. This is for several different reasons, some of which are burnout-related, others of which involve me adjusting how I approach making comics and having to learn how to draw a variety of things I have little experience drawing in the next chapter!

For my own sanity and to help make sure that I keep a good relationship with my art, I’ll be extending the hiatus by a bit more than a month. This’ll put the comic’s return at around March 17th. I’m extremely sad to be delaying Where the Heart Is’ return as I’m excited for the stuff that’s coming up, but I really hope that it’s worth the wait for you all.
